Privacy policy

Last updated October 28, 2026. This page explains what information shopazonic.com collects when you visit, and why.

The short version

You don’t need an account to use Shopazonic, and we never ask for your name, address or payment details. We collect basic visit statistics to understand which guides are useful, and Amazon.ca handles everything once you click through to buy.

What we collect

Google Analytics

We use Google Analytics, which sets cookies to count visits and see which pages are read, which device and browser are used, and roughly where visitors are (city or region). Google processes this data under its own privacy policy. You can opt out with the Google Analytics opt-out browser add-on.

Our own visit and click log

When you open a page or click a link to Amazon.ca, our server records your IP address, browser type, language, the page you were on, the page that referred you, any ad click ID in the address (from Google or Facebook ads) and the Amazon link you clicked. We use this to count visits and clicks, measure which guides are useful and spot fraudulent traffic.

Email

If you email us, we keep your message and address only to reply to you.

Amazon.ca

As an Amazon Associate, Shopazonic earns from qualifying purchases. When you click a link to Amazon.ca, Amazon may set cookies so that a purchase can be credited to us. Amazon does not tell us who you are or what you bought; we only see anonymous sales totals. Anything you do on Amazon.ca is covered by Amazon.ca’s privacy notice.

What we don’t do

  • We don’t sell or rent your information.
  • We don’t show third-party ads.
  • We keep visit data only as long as we need it for the purposes above.

Your choices

You can block or delete cookies in your browser settings, and use the Google Analytics opt-out add-on. The guides work the same either way.

Under Canadian privacy law you can ask what information we hold about you, or ask us to correct or delete it. Email shopazonic.info@gmail.com.
